THIN FILM – AMORFO
The new panels generation
From the construction point of view these panels are not made by real pv
cells. The silicon instead of being divided into cells is deposited uniformly
in a single sheet of a few millimeters depth, from which derives the definition
“thin film”. The amorphous silicon panels are not the only made in thin film, even if they are the most famous. Thin film panels may be made of other semiconductor materials
alternative to silicon, as per CI/GS or CdTe.
